What therapy with me is like
How person centred therapy works with me, from the free call to weekly sessions, online in the UK and many other countries, or in person in London and Essex.

Person centred,
in plain English
You lead. I don’t come with a plan to fix you, because I don’t think you’re broken.
I listen closely and try to understand things from where you’re standing, then reflect back what I hear. I’m honest with you, and I’ll ask the questions that help you hear yourself more clearly.
We work with what’s going on for you now, rather than getting stuck in past regrets or future worries. Over time the critical voice that’s been running the show gets quieter, and yours gets louder.
How starting works
1
Free 15 minute call
Fill in the form and I’ll call you. Ask me anything and see if we’re a good fit. There’s no obligation to book.
2
First session
We talk about what’s brought you here, what you’d like to change, and how we’ll work together.
3
Weekly sessions
Same day and time each week, 50 minutes, online or in person. We check in regularly on how it’s going.
The practical bits
Online or in person
Online suits a lot of people, especially if travel or energy is tight. I work with clients across the UK and in many other countries. If you’re outside the UK, tell me where you are on the free call and I’ll check I can work with you there. In person sessions are in London and Essex.
What you can bring
Anything. The big stuff, the small stuff, the stuff you’ve never said out loud.
Confidentiality
What you say stays between us, within the limits of the BACP Ethical Framework. I’ll explain those limits in our first session.
How long it lasts
Some people come for a few months, others for longer. We check in regularly on how it’s going, and you can stop whenever you want.
Book a free call
A line or two is plenty. I reply within 48 hours to find a time that suits you, by phone or video.
